Re: CE20020078, case date 2-25-2020, Murray Marine Sales and Service.
There is an open code compliance case about the un-permitted fence and docks that runs along the seawall at the east end of Laurel Avenue that is within the right-of-way lines on official surveys.
In the field notes [see attachment] the inspector wrote: "Engineering response received and attached: BOCC approved installation of fence. - JJ" and "File Review: BOCC approved fence to be placed on property. However, permit was still required according to Sr. inspector JH. Will issue NOV/NOH - JJ"
I have previously asked via the public records act for all documents showing BOCC agreement to allow Murray Marine to fence off the seawall which is in the ROW and to use the seawall for private commercial gain. NO such documentation was provided.
Please provide copies of the following:
1. Documentation to support the quoted statement that the "BOCC approved fence to be placed on property."
2. All internal and external communications pertaining to this code compliance case, including but not limited to the "engineering response" referred to in the notes.
3. The contents of the file that was reviewed by the inspector prior to him/her writing "File Review: BOCC approved fence to be placed on property."
4. A copy of the NOV/NOH that was sent to Murray Marine.
